FORAGING IN THE CITY

> THE PANJIM CUBE PROJECT

This project is inspired by Guy Debord's psychogeography and situationist mapping, and is a way to challenge consumption-driven systems that alienate urban experiences. Rooted in Panjim’s layered history, the project unfolded in three stages: archival research to uncover historic urban logics, a collective dérive during the Serendipity Arts Festival to forage objects reflecting veiled narratives, and the creation of a dynamic, three-dimensional material recomposition of these within a hollow cube. This public installation invited participants to rediscover Panjim’s overlooked material narratives, fostering connections and encouraging reflection on the city's evolving urban landscape.
